Enjoy the fishing beauty

Reputed for its wild nature and its fishy ponds, the Dombes is a very much appreciated fishing territory.

A ” no kill ” fishing

Here, at the Domaine de la Dombes, we are in favour of the respect of the environment. It is the reason why fishing is in NO KILL. For those who don’t know the slang of fishing, it is the obligation to throw the fish back in the water. Get more information about this practice.

What do we fish at the Domaine?

The pond of the Domaine is 8ha and one of the most profound of the Dombes. Moreover, the fish species are numerous!

You will be able to catch:

  • carp
  • pike-perch
  • pike
  • black bass
  • sturgeon
  • roach
  • perch

You will maybe encounter a catfish, considered as damaging, this specie will exceptionnally not be thrown back in the water.
